  • As Customer Care Agent you act as the customer's central contact with Barry Callebaut. A specific customer portfolio is assigned to you and you act in tandem with one of our commercial people to quickly and adequately respond to all the customer's needs.
  • In this role, you monitor the order to cash process and ensure the right amount of the requested product is delivered at the right price and on time to the customer. If the agreements do not work out as planned you make adjustments or suggest alternatives.
  • As a central point of contact, you steer the other departments to ensure maximum respect for the agreements reached with the customer. For certain partial tasks, you can rely on the support of our customer service experts. In case of the absence of a colleague, the files are transferred to a backup.
  • To guarantee quality services, you have ample knowledge of the customer's activities and you are permanently building a good understanding with your customer.
  • You are able to build an intimate relationship with your customers to understand their operations and collaborate on planning activities according to the demand of the customer and BC capabilities & needs.
  • You report to the Customer Care Manager Belgium.

  • You followed higher education and you have a bachelor's or master's in preferably a commercial direction. About 3 years of experience in a similar position and context is a must.
  • You are exceptionally customer-friendly and service-oriented, and your method of working is analytical and organized.
  • You are also solution-oriented, and meticulous in the execution and you constantly want to make improvements.
  • You have a good dose of positive assertiveness and commercial feeling, you are flexible and stress resistant.
  • You are able to build bridges between departments and you can provide concrete insights into the operations of your customers.
  • Good co-operation is important to you and you communicate in an open and enthusiastic manner.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written. French is certainly a strong plus.
  • You have an affinity with IT systems and Microsoft Office holds no secrets for you.
