Senior Accountant

We are currently looking for an Accountant for one of our clients active in the FMCG industry and located in Brussels.

Our client is actively looking for an hands-on and collaborative accountant to reinforce its financial team composed of 2 people. Working for our client means joining a small family while stabilizing your career in a cosmopolitan environment.

You will be responsible for the general accounting :

• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Leads the external audit and, when necessary, fiscal and VAT audits
• Production of statutory accounts
• Creates Purchase Orders
• Verifies invoice accuracy and carries out follow-up activities for invoices lacking proper format or authorization
• Checks payment lists and incoming payment postings from Shared Services Center
• Cash reconciliation
• Month end accruals
• Runs monthly, quarterly and yearly closure activities

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
• You speak French and/or Dutch and you are fluent in English
• Analytical and pragmatic, you are precise and you pay attention to the details
• Your sociability and communication skills are your biggest asset !
