Functie

• Translate Business Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand operational business needs and translate them into innovative smart manufacturing solutions leveraging modern technologies.

• Design and Develop Technical Solutions: Design and align technical solutions based on functional requirements, contributing to the success of global smart manufacturing initiatives.

• Develop Cloud and Mobile Applications: Utilize a low-code development platform ( Mendix ) to develop cloud and mobile applications supporting daily activities in production facilities, including MES, Dashboarding, and Reporting functionalities.

• Build Integrations and Interfaces: Develop integrations and interfaces between various applications, such as SAP interfaces, machines, and IoT sensors , using data acquisition platforms and industrial standards like OPC UA, MQTT, and OData .

• Set Up Data Integrations: Establish data integrations between factory assets and cloud data storage environments ( Microsoft Azure ), ensuring seamless connectivity and efficient data flows.

• Provide Technical Support: Offer daily technical support to ensure the smooth operation of digital solutions within the production environment, troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance as needed.

Jouw profiel

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or related
• Experience with solution design, cloud architectures, development, databases, and DevOps (scrum)
• Affinity with production environments and processes.
• Knowledge of MOMS/MES/SCADA.
• Knowledge of IoT solutions and interfacing (REST, MQTT, OPC UA, …)
• Experience with Mendix is a plus.
• Experience with data logging in Azure is a plus.
• Experience or knowledge of AI is a plus.
• Very good knowledge English. Dutch is a plus.
• Hands-on, ownership mindset, and result-driven approach.
• Willing to travel (China, Malaysia, Mexico, Hungary, Germany and Belgium)
