What you can expect: As Solution Architect - Data Platform, you will design the architecture of SCHUFA's core system, which takes care of the recording, preparation, processing and provision of the company's most important data. Together with our Enterprise Architecture team, you will scout and evaluate technical innovations and trends, start trials and profitably introduce new technologies, practices and tools. You are a sparring partner and source of inspiration for new product and service ideas for technical product owners, engineers, department heads and product management. You work on technical issues, evaluate trade-offs and make important architectural decisions. If necessary, you also lend a hand and code yourself. You will develop software solutions as part of initiatives and projects (blueprints, POCs, prototypes). You actively contribute to the maintenance of the architecture and technology catalog and to the design of our architecture principles, standards, tools, methods and interfaces. You are a coach and mentor for engineers and technical product owners You communicate architectural and technical goals and measures to technical and non-technical target groups What you bring with you: You have a degree in a technical / scientific field or a comparable qualification from the IT environment. You have at least 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years as an IT architect You have a TOGAF or similar certification. You have strong, long-standing knowledge of various modern programming languages, platforms, technologies, frameworks, architectural approaches and design principles for software and API development and for building CI/CD pipelines. You are an expert in the development of data-intensive (SQL and NoSQL-based) information systems with the latest Java versions. Specifically, you are very familiar with J2EE, the Spring ecosystem, Quarkus/GraalVM as well as container and serverless technologies on AWS and are able to migrate projects to the cloud accordingly. You are familiar with the principles of Independent Systems Architecture and are able to modify an existing system accordingly. You are no stranger to event sourcing, CQRS, SOLID and BASE. On the contrary, you are just waiting to be able to apply these principles. You are familiar with messaging (Kafka, AMQ) and rule-based systems (Drools, Camunda). You are familiar with DevOps principles and especially Infrastructure-as-Code You know the methods and have practical experience in moderating workshops to evaluate, restructure or conceptualize architectures. Thanks to your strong analytical skills, your team spirit and your experience in tool-supported architecture knowledge retrieval, you can quickly familiarize yourself with existing systems and gain an overview. You always keep up to date with the latest developments and take part in meetings, events and conferences, also as a speaker. You have a good understanding of business processes and customer-centric approaches as well as a strong focus on results and added value according to lean-agile principles You have versatile collaboration, communication, presentation and coaching skills You can present complex issues in a way that is appropriate for the target group, convey them clearly and actively bring about decisions.
