Product Manager


The objective of the job:

Achieving strategic goals of the company by developing, implementing and improving its products and services to respond to or anticipate on consumer needs

Giving a direction to the sales group in relation with the product management policy agreed with the management team

Contribute to the overall strategy of the company, the monthly and yearly company report, the year budget and the production of the paper and electronic catalogues.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

The main responsibilities are:

1. Assisting the sales department with the necessary technical expertise and providing the necessary information to support sales of products, for which product training is necessary. or wishful

2. Track and analyze product data so that the sales department is always up to date with both internal developments and developments from competitors.

3. Maintain close communication with both the sales department and the internal marketing and graphic department so that both can provide customized promotional material and make the most of it.

4. Design market research projects with a view to the needs of the customer in both the current product range and in the introduction of new products. These market surveys are conducted either with their own staff or with a manager of a third party.

5. Assisting in the development and creation of an annual marketing plan and thus assisting in the preparation of promotional material.

6. Prepare product forecasts (including financial forecast and budget) and check stock in all warehouses (local and global - Logistic Center) in order to ensure a constant supply.

7. Maintaining contact with the marketing department regarding e-mail marketing, e-commerce and telephone marketing

8. Contribute and investigate the extent to which we can also implement B2C in the company's approach, in addition to B2B

9. Coordinating the price policy process

10. International market monitoring in relation to product management activity and good knowledge of the competition

11. Obtaining sustainable results, long-term as well as short-term.

12. Efficient communication with colleagues or superiors in the same department or related departments to achieve the company's goals

13. Set up of a control system at reception of samples or reception of procured goods (sampling). Establish test reports.

14. Respecting GDPR rules within the scope of the responsibilities attributed.


Technical knowledge

Knowledge of ERP systems used internally including Office 365 package

MRP (Material Request Planning) and CRP (Capacity Request Planning) knowledge

Analytical capability and prospecting techniques

Results orientation

Understanding the target group

Adapt the strategies used for B2B as well as B2C

Extensive knowledge of product range

Ability to negotiate with potential suppliers' terms and conditions for purchase

Store management in collaboration with the store managers

Perception and understanding of the cultural differences, implementing strategies that work for all the cultures and markets

Ability to work in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team, but also individually, to plan and initiate actions for team as well individual

Creating performance indicators together with the management team

Permanent reporting in front of the management team

Efficient time management and planning capability. Ability to work without permanent management or monitoring.

Comply with the performance indicators agreed with the management team
