Our client is a company active in the energy sector.

The scope of responsibilities for this job include:

• Be the first point of contact for IT staff.
• Diagnose problems with servers, architectures, networks and applications.
• As needed, follow up with vendors/subcontractors on issues until they are fully resolved.
• Ensure proper and optimal use of IT resources and the reliability and integrity of reliability and integrity of computerized data.
• Manage and strengthen systems to ensure security of IT resources and data protection, and monitor and control them.
• Manage and optimize partnerships with application and equipment vendors and subcontractors.
• Centralize IT and telecom purchases.
• Continuously train Belgian and Dutch personnel.
• Ensure that the ERP system is running smoothly.
• Troubleshoot, support and train employees in using the ERP system.
• Finding solutions, simplifying and optimizing the use of ERP.
• Taking an active role in the digitalization of the company, including the development of the e-shop.
• Actively participate in the project to implement a CRM (Odoo).
• Participate in the development and implementation of a PIM system.
• Monitor the development of the current ERP, analyze and evaluate the market.
• Have an overall view of the Group's IT architecture, identify the needs of each department.
• Suggest improvements to anticipate business development.
• Search for the best solutions.

The requested qualifications for this job include:

• First successful experience in a similar role.
• Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Very well spoken and written French and Dutch.
• Organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
• Good communication skills.
• Curious and open to learn about new IT solutions.
• Autonomous, resourceful, passionate, versatile and with good practical insight.
