External Corporate Communications Manager BeLux

The External Corporate Comms Manager KO Team BeLux is responsible for shaping an external communications strategy that strengthens KO Team's reputation in BeLux.


Your role will be to manage KO Team's relationship with the media, treat media inquiries and set up an impactful multi-touchpoint communication strategy.

  • Implement and execute a corporate multi-touchpoint communications strategy that brings KO Team's reputation in BeLux to a higher level
  • Own and manage the communications calendar and consistently seek out new media opportunities and ways to enhance positive media impact for KO Team Belux. Proactively identify key communication opportunities within all departments
  • Extend and lead interactions with journalists and influencers, advocate and represent the company's interest towards journalists
  • Prepare and update communication materials: local ESG reports, company statements, fact sheets, Q&A's, presentations, video, etc
  • Improve KO Team's digital footprint in BeLux: create a strategy for the corporate website and social media channels
  • Support the corporate brand lead in external communication across all channels
  • Organize press events and company visits for external stakeholders
  • Manage communications agencies effectively
  • You report into the Head of Corporate Affairs BeLux. You collaborate closely with the owners of the Reputation and Public Affairs corporate affairs pillars

  • Masters-level education (preferable in Communications, Marketing, Comms or Journalism) or equivalent experience
  • ⚠ to ⚠ years' experience in communications in an agency or in-house role

  • You have excellent communication skills and are a good strategic thinker. You have passion for strategical and operational communication and operationally, and have a fresh view on corporate communication anno ⚠
  • You can work under time pressure, ad-hoc changes and have the ability to complete tasks within tight deadlines. Prior experience in crisis communication management is a plus
  • You have excellent executive communication skills and have experience in dealing with senior leadership
  • Fluency in Dutch, French and English is required
  • You are enthusiastic and motivated to operate in a fast-paced work environment
  • You are a team player who is good at internal and external stakeholder management
  • You embrace the latest communication technologies and know-how to manage social media platforms and online conversations
