As a Claims Handler, you will:

• Assist brokers and customers by telephone with claims reporting and file follow-up.
• Open files with the customer's supporting documents in order to investigate the claim.
• Check whether the policy covers this type of incident and assess liability.
• Analyse all aspects of the customer's situation and compare them with the contents of the policy, in collaboration with brokers and experts.
• Determine, in accordance with the terms of the policy, the costs to be covered and accept or reject claims.
• Ensure the administrative follow-up of the file and the financial settlement of the claim.

The ideal profile for a Claims Handler:

• You ideally have a bachelor's degree in insurance or equivalent.
• You have some professional experience in a similar role (insurance files handling, claims, etc.)
• You are autonomous and proactive.
• You are empathetic, reliable and positive.
• You have a good analytical mind.
• You have a perfect knowledge of French and Dutch (both spoken and written) and/or English.
