Job description Your Mission

As the Plant Finance Business Partner, the focus is on actively collaborating with the business to provide proactive financial analysis, reports, and strategic insights for Puratos' sustainable growth. This role plays a critical part in connecting finance with operations, supporting strategic decision-making, and improving financial performance in manufacturing. The Plant Finance Business Partner is integral to Site Management Teams, leading financial performance enhancements, guiding the site to sustainable financial results, and contributing to overall business objectives through financial forecasting and strategic decision-making.


What you will do
  • Improve financial performance through analysis, data-driven opportunity identification, and realistic proposal of approaches with business cases.
  • Provide monthly financial reports to the BeOps Director and Site Management, enhancing reporting tools and processes.
  • Lead rolling forecasting, long-range planning, and budget processes in collaboration with site management and corporate finance teams.
  • Analyze and control financial results, investigating variances against budgets and prior years.
  • Collaborate with Site Managers and Management Teams, playing a key role in strategic decision-making.
  • Support business development programs, drive working capital reduction, and actively participate in Capex Project evaluations.
  • Ensure accurate product costing and conduct integrated profitability exercises.
  • Contribute to the development and application of Group Financial Principles.
  • Follow up on site internal audit reports and offer ad hoc financial support to operations and finance teams as needed.
Profile
  • Holds a Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Possesses 3-4 years of audit experience followed by additional years in manufacturing.
  • Fluent in English and French (oral and written) based on plant location.
  • Demonstrates strong SAP knowledge.
  • Shows interest in the production (process) environment.
  • Exhibits a customer-focused and problem-solving attitude.
  • Possesses strong business acumen and the ability to think across boundaries.
  • Excellent team player with effective communication and collaboration skills.
