International Key Account Manager


For Bebat's affiliated companies BebatPRO, a legal entity, offering worldwide safe solutions for Li-Ion battery collection & storage, and RENEOS, a legal entity, providing European solutions for collection & recycling of Li-Ion batteries, we are hiring an International Key Account Manager profile who will work for both these affiliated companies. Both companies are located in the offices of Bebat in Tienen, Belgium. Functieomschrijving The International Key Account Manager is responsible for prospecting for and maintaining international and national customers such as OEMs, battery compliance schemes, and companies active in the industry field of energy storage systems, electric vehicles, material handling equipment, backup power supplies, etc. In addition, collecting market information and supporting the business unit manager. About the role: Mainly responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key accounts understanding the specific needs and requirement of each account, developing strategic plans to maximize sales and profitability, work closely with the business unit manager and gather market data. Main responsibilities:
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients.
  • Identifying new business opportunities.
  • Managing existing accounts.
  • Meeting and reporting on sales targets and action plans
  • Collaborating with battery collection partners across Europe
Profiel
  • Bachelor's or master's degree
  • Proven track record in International Key Account Manager (KAM) position(s) - at least 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Candidates should have a keen interest in electrification and current battery technology trends, and be technically savvy
  • Customer centric: Strong track record of developing long term customer & network relationships
  • Capability to improve our offerings to enrich customer experience
  • Proven ability to identify growth opportunities and seize them
  • Result-driven, problem-solving individual with excellent negotiation skills
  • Analytical skills and familiarity with RFQ processes
  • Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end sales process
  • Structured way of working in a complex and fast changing environment
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English - Dutch and French; knowledge of other European languages is a plus
  • Enthusiastic about working with IT solutions, experienced and skilled in using CRM and sales automation tools like Odoo and HubSpot and proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint)
