IT Network Administrator

As a dynamic member of the IT team in a multinational environment, you will be part of the infrastructure team providing the network uptime in our European sites, shops and datacenters.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Security systems enhancements installations and follow-up with reporting.
  • Assist globally with other network teams.
  • Implement enhancements or execute upgrades on them.
  • Provide the best possible technical and security solutions using the current IT network systems.
  • Monitoring the network and follow-up.
  • Must work closely together with external parties and current managed services maintaining our datacenter.
  • Create and maintain up-to-date infrastructure documentation, asset management and drawings together with the relevant project-owners.

Profiel kandidaat

  • Have minimal 3 years working experience in the infrastructure environment of a big multinational company.
  • Relevant experience is needed with installing/using the following products PaloAlto, Panorama, HPE/Aruba, Wireshark, iperf, Clearpass, Wireless lan controllers, etc… Also some server, IP telephony and storage experience is seen as a clear advantage.
  • Prove to have a general solid technical IT background.
  • To be able to connect and properly secure public/private/hybrid cloud datacenters and other sites.
  • Speaks English fluently including writing skills.
  • Willing to travel across Europe for shorter periods and assisting with new network installations and upgrades.

 

  • Be proactive and demonstrate problem solving skills.
  • Be result driven and can work independently and deliver results in finalizing a project.
  • Follow up on tickets and timely solve them according to their priorities.
  • Show a high degree of flexibility.
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple IT network requests and quickly adapt to changing priorities.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt to a multicultural environment.
  • Prove a strong customer mind-set and a team-player.
