Your mission

The role of our Material Engineering team, located on the Braine-l'Alleud site, is to ensure that the materials used in vehicle construction meet the required performance, safety, and durability standards while also considering factors like cost, weight, and environmental impact.

What will you work on?

• Material trend survey: benchmarking, investigation on new material, competitors products and selection of materials.
• Material Quality approval for prototypes: Material properties and durability evaluation.
• Process Quality confirmation: check and evaluation of catalogues and products, initiate material switchover process and propose improvements. Participation to product quality test.
• Standardization of processes and procedures with overseas sites.
• Technical support for internal departments and customers and provide internal trainings.

MUST HAVE

• Experience level: Junior – Confirmed
• Bachelor/Master degree in Chemical Engineering or Material Science and Engineering
• Fluency in English and French
• Ready to travel up to ⚠%

NICE TO HAVE

• German and/or Japanese
• A first experience in automotive Business or interest for automotive products
• A first experience in industrial environment
