We're looking for a motivated product and business developper for a new medical device.

YOUR TASKS

• You will be working at an exciting and innovative medical device development project at Ghent University.
• Performing market research, drafting and validation of go-to-market strategies.
• Perform usability studies to translate medical needs to design requirements.
• Business development in the medical and aesthetic sector.
• Organize preclinical validation experiments with medical experts.
• Possibly performing (basic) ⚠D product design.

• You hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field or you have relevant experience.
• You are a dynamic & motivated person with fast learning capabilities looking for a new and exciting challenge.
• You have a strong motivation for bringing an innovative medical device to the market.
• You have experience with product and/or business development preferably in the medical field.
• You have good social skills and enjoy initiating and maintaining constructive dialogs with stakeholders.
• You have knowledge of (medical) electromechanical devices or the ability to lean and understand their functioning fast.
• Experience with product development and industrial design is a plus.
• You work in a well-structured, thorough way and are able to solve problems independently.
• You are a team player and have good communication skills.
• Dutch or English speaker.

• Marktontwikkelingen en marktpotentieel onderzoeken en identificeren (prijzen, technisch karakter, reglementering, ...)
• Een klanten- of prospectenbestand uitwerken
• De technische, economische, … informatie en de reglementering opvolgen en actualiseren
• Technische en financiële oplossingen ontwikkelen en uitwerken in bestekken, voorontwerpen, lastenboeken, offertes, prijsopgaven
• De gegevens over de activiteiten van de dienst of de organisatie opvolgen en analyseren

• Your remuneration will be determined by salary scale WM⚠ to WM⚠ (if you hold a Master’s degree) or salary scale PD⚠ to PD⚠ (if you hold a doctorate).
