Communications Officer (50%)

Functie

BSPHO is looking for a driven, enthusiastic, Dutch-speaking professional for the position of Communications Officer (50%). This new position is part of an ongoing expansion of the secretariat and its activities. The role of the Communications Officer includes both internal and external communications tasks and also involves working in close collaboration with the CEO of the association on different administrative and financial aspects.

The Communications Officer will:

· Work closely with our CEO to develop and implement a BSPHO communications strategy;

· Monitor, analyse, and make suggestions to constantly improve BSPHO’s communications impact and generate members’ engagement;

· Create attractive content for BSPHO’s various materials (website, newsletters, visuals, social media...), catered to our members, donors and general public;

· Design and run thematic communications campaigns;

· Manage BSPHO membership and website users (manage directory, membership invoices, website access, etc.);

· Take a leading role in the organisation and promotion of meetings and events (internal/external), request RIZIV accreditation points and write reports;

· Support the CEO in various administrative and financial tasks (e.g. mailbox management, invoicing, timesheet management, financial project reporting, etc.).

Jouw profiel

· Native-level Dutch and excellent command of English (French is an asset);

· 2+ years of working experience in communications;

· Educational background in communications, journalism or a related field;

· Excellent writing and editing skills;

· The ability to translate technical content into impactful messages tailored to different audiences;

· “Digital native” with a strong grasp of different communications tools (web, social media, newsletter tools);

· Strong organisational skills;

· Creativity and an eye for details;

· Self-starter, enthusiastic, and a strong team player with good interpersonal skills;

  • Schriftelijke communicatiedragers opstellen: Jaarlijkse balans, jaarverslag
  • Gegevens van de activiteiten actualiseren (stuurbordgegevens, statistieken, …) en rapporten van communicatieacties opmaken
  • Schriftelijke, visuele of audiovisuele communicatieproducten uitwerken
  • Communicatiedragers ontwikkelen: Sociale mediaprofielen
  • De inhoud van een website beheren
  • De communicatie voorbereiden (inhoud verzamelen, evalueren, selecteren, opstellen, ...)
  • De logistieke uitvoering van communicatieacties, -producten en -dragers plannen (verspreiding, expositie, distributie, …)
  • Schriftelijke communicatiedragers opstellen: Nieuwsbrief, e-nieuwsbrief (mailings)
