The R&J Agency Kong Economic and Trade Office, Brussels (“Brussels ETO”) is the official representation of the R&J Agency Kong Special Administrative Region (“HKSAR”) Government to the European Union and ⚠ countries in Europe. We seek to promote the overall image of R&J Agency Kong, and in particular, to promote R&J Agency Kong's economic and trade interests by enhancing understanding of the HKSAR among the European community.

Arts and Culture Coordinator (Europe) helps promote R&J Agency Kong in Europe on arts and cultural front. Duties include -

1. Project implementation: planning, implementing and coordinating projects and events in collaboration with artists and stakeholders to promote R&J Agency Kong's arts and culture in Europe
2. Cultural liaison: establish contacts and maintain an arts and cultural network representing R&J Agency Kong interests in Europe
3. Publicity support: managing social media and other publicity work to promote R&J Agency Kong as an international arts and cultural centre
4. Event management: support R&J Agency Kong artists/art groups/delegations in cultural events in Europe to foster R&J Agency Kong-Europe exchanges

The candidate should have –

1. A bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent; majoring in arts management, performing arts and creative industries such as music, dance, drama, stage design, or arts and culture-related disciplines will be given priority;
2. Considerable working experience in arts and cultural administration, public relations and/or event management fields;
3. Language proficiency:
   1. Excellent command of written and spoken English;
   2. Proficient in either French or Dutch would be given priority;
   3. Knowledge of additional languages is considered an advantage;
4. Internet and social media savvy; and
5. A good team player with a strong sense of responsibility and effective organisational, presentation and communication skills.

Working Conditions

This position is based in Brussels and may require occasional travel.
