As an international claims manager, you are the expert in material and physical damage. You manage the claims files of our clients from A to Z. You have a great capacity for empathy and strive to provide excellent service.

Your tasks include:

• Assessing the claim based on the insurance policy
• Determining liability and the amount of compensation
• Financial management of the claim
• Communication throughout the process with the insurer, the guarantee fund, claims experts, the opposing party, etc.

• Knowledge of international law and proficiency in MS Office programs are essential.
• Preferably, you have some prior experience in the insurance sector and/or in managing claims abroad.
• Good knowledge of Dutch or French, both written and spoken. A good knowledge of English is an additional asset.
• You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in insurance or law or an equivalent qualification.
• Customer service is very important to you, you are proactive in informing the different stakeholders and you enjoy solving problems for your clients.
• You are detail-oriented and able to see the "big picture". You are a team player able to solve problems. You can perform tasks independently within a relatively short time frame.
